My creative and captivating friend Loretta is back at it. One of the most delightful people I've had the chance to encounter (let alone photograph).
Behind the Scenes
I've been wanting to do something like this for a while... a more extensive behind the scenes for a self portrait shoot. I simply haven't entered the world of video. Today was the day.
The first thing I did when I woke up was (scroll through the internet for half an hour, but when I actually got out of bed) I threw on this shirt and made the following video.
What is so shocking about this is that I had no previous intention of making video behind the scenes. When my feet hit the floor I knew how I was spending my day.
Below are the finals from the little shoot above.
May Self Portraits
This was a crazy month. With everything that has been going on I am thoroughly amazed that I've had time for self portraits let alone self portraits that I am so, so proud of.
I just moved into a new place. So, you'll notice a little shift in my natural light options. I am truly loving it so far, and I'm excited to shoot more in here!
Dani Medin
May was good to me. I moved into a new place and got to shoot a new girl in it.
I spent the month focusing on the retouching side of my business and on moving into a new house. After all the dust settled, I got to photograph Dani Medin in home.
I love this set for a few reasons. We started out more on the updating-a-headshot track and then moved over to boudoir and red lips. I'm obsessed with both looks.
